Appreciation Note, For my Male Colleagues

 I wrote this one for the men in my department, on the occasion of international men's day.

'To all the professional men out there,
You make our work environment better.

To the problem solvers,
To the dabba openers, the chair offerers,
To the polite talkers (even in toughest of times),
To the advisors,
To the chocolate thieves & gifters,
To the gallant professionals.

We can't appreciate you enough
For showing strength & giving us courage to face challenges,
For staying back with us for resolving issues,
For accompanying us while we go back home late at night,
For being helpful colleagues, funny friends & kind bosses,
For sharing the last slices of the pizza,
For being responsible,
For being strong yet supportive,
For being Tough yet kind,
For bringing smile on our faces,
For making our lives easy,
For just being there,
Honestly, the list is endless..

We all adore & respect you,
For all that you always do,
A small note of Thank you!'

Welcome Back to Office

Wrote the following poem for my team members while we were all coming back to office after the pandemic.

We got through the pandemic together,

With each one of us supporting one another.

The virus is still mutating around,

To help you fight the same we will follow precautions, profound.

It’s still exciting to get back to some degree of normal, 

Oh how lovely it will be to dress up in our formals.

Bringing back the contagious smiles on the floor,

The chai time conversations will be restored.

We understand that it will take time to adjust to the new reality,

To build even stronger teams this will be a great opportunity.

You will get to relive the joy of in person conversations,

& hopping to each other's desk for clarifications.

The person you are & the difference you make.

We are truly proud of the work you did so far,

For all you do,
