Corruption now-a-days became a sway,
Spreading in Politics and administration in an abrupt way.
Dreams of our late freedom fighters are terribly shattered,
The nation is now all bruised and battered.
Our constitution is the cause of mother India’s plight,
It’s now duty of the citizens to come forward and fight.
An ex-army man stood up for the cause,
His idea was to come up with a new clause.
In the ‘lokpal bill’ Anna hazare demanded changes,
From ‘jan lokpal bill’ the government had numerous grievances.
People compared Anna to aandhi,
Even tagged him as today’s Gandhi.
The government was not ready for any conclusion,
So Anna had to opt for the trail of annshan !
Behind this meticulously planned agitation,
Public supported with spontaneity and dedication.
Our self-absorbed government continued to stay obtuse,
But our protests proved the stringency of no use.
After losing on people’s parliament, 3 demands were accepted,
Anna’s agitation took suspension as agreed.
The movement will not stop by the condolence received,
We won’t rest till the desired Changes are achieved.
The jan lokpal bill will bring changes even in the suburb,
To corruption it will prove to b a curb.
In the war of People vs. parliament,
People scored well in the first inning.
This win is no end it’s just a beginning.
